Each fall, Social Venture Fund accepts 15-25 new investment associates. We have a strong preference for first-year MBAs or dual degree students and traditionally accept 2-5 BBAs and ~5 Law Students per year. During the two-year commitment, associates will spend an average of 10-15 hours a week conducting deal sourcing, business plan evaluation, due diligence, capacity building, marketing, and fundraising. MBA/BBA Students who are interested should attend fall information sessions held in late August/early September or contact Haley Goodman at email@example.com. Please note that Law Associate recruiting happens in Late March and will follow a separate recruitment process.
SVF invests in US-based, for-profit social enterprises working in the areas of Climate, Community Development, Education, and Health. We make minority investments ranging from $20,000 – $60,000 through preferred equity or convertible debt securities, in businesses whose products or services have been validated through customer usage, revenue, or marketplace traction. If you know of a business that meets these criteria, they may submit an executive summary and business plan. If you have any questions please contact the Co-VPs of Investments: Chisom Uche (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Rebecca Leder (email@example.com).
