Jess is a first-year MBA student at the Ross School of Business with a Data & Business Analytics concentration. Prior to Ross, she built and led a Customer Success team at a fast-growing financial technology startup in San Francisco ( In this role, she supported over 1,000 startups and helped founders better understand the financial health of their businesses. Jess is passionate about economic development and sustainable food systems. She is an advanced certified Volunteer Income Tax Preparer for VITA, a program that offers free tax preparation to low-income individuals and families, and volunteered weekly with the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA), a non-profit dedicated to cultivating a sustainable food system. Jess joined SVF to further explore the intersection of business and social impact, as she has seen how venture capital financing can help businesses grow.

Jess holds a B.S. in Business Administration for UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a minor in French. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and exploring national parks.
