Michael (he/him) is a first year MBA and Consortium Fellow from New York City.

Prior to Ross, Michael worked largely in public education as an elementary school teacher and teacher leader with KIPP DC and KIPP NYC. Most recently, he served as Senior Associate Director of Strategic Planning at the New York City Department of Education. He and his team increased access to high quality seats and programs through school openings, mergers, and rezonings. Michael is passionate about creating an equitable education system that lifts low-income students and their families from poverty.

Michael holds a M.Ed. from George Mason University, a B.A. in political science from Moravian College, he is Teach For America and AmeriCorps alumnus, and proud first-generation college student raised by a single mother.
