The Eugene Applebaum Dare to Dream Grants help students advance from concept to launch through startup workshops focused on refining ideas, assessing business models, and planning for a successful launch. The program offers grants ranging from $300 to $5,000 (depending on the program phase).

Presented by the U-M Zell Lurie Institute, the half-day conference provides exceptional opportunities to interact with and have direct exposure to attendees comprised of private equity, investment banking, and venture capital industry peers, as well as leaders of second-stage companies from the greater Midwest.
The Product Innovation Program (PIP) at the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies is designed to provide an end-to-end experience for those considering a corporate innovation or product management career. Throughout the program, students will create a product idea, define a minimum viable product, build and test a product prototype, and determine how to launch the product and acquire customers.

Michigan Investment Challenge is the campus-wide investor competition in which students play the role of venture capitalists. Student teams evaluate real investment options presented by motivated entrepreneurs and decide where to invest their firm’s money.
