ZLI Startup Workshop: Legal 101 – Setting Up the Business Entity & Splitting Equity

Nov 15 2017

Starts at
Michigan Ross R1210

When starting a company, many founders have questions about whether and where they should form a limited liability company, corporation or other business entity, what vesting means and whether they should vest their equity, how to divide equity in the company and how to handle founders who depart from the company.  This workshop will discuss these issues so founders understand how to best set up and operate their companies.  Facilitated by Professor Dana Thompson, Director of the Entrepreneurship Clinic at Michigan Law School.
