Fall 2022: Application
You do not need venture capital, investing, finance, or startup experience. We will teach you about early-stage investing. You must have completed all the sophomore-required BBA courses prior to applying for the fund, and be enrolled as a full-time BBA student. The fund meets as a class on Wednesdays, from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm and is a for-credit course; it is not a student club. Attendance is mandatory.
What do we look for?
We are looking for BBA juniors who:
- Will have a high level of commitment to the Zell Early Stage Fund
- Have demonstrated high academic achievement at the University of Michigan
- Are inclusive, tolerant, active, and reliable team members
- Are mature and composed in their judgement and conduct while interacting with real-world investors and entrepreneurs
- Have strong analytical (quantitative or qualitative) and communications skills
DISCLAIMER: Students cannot apply to both SVF and ZESF
Application
The Fund is currently looking for BBA Juniors to join the team. We encourage BBA juniors from all backgrounds to consider applying to ZESF. As the fund is a 2-year commitment, it is not open to students who study abroad and will miss half of the education material. Please see important dates for Fall 2022 recruiting below.
