Marcel Gani

Marcel Gani

Consultant

Marcel Gani currently consults with several venture funds to assist early stage companies in different high technology and clean energy areas. Prior to this, he taught accounting and finance at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.

Mr. Gani held the position of Chief of Staff of Juniper Networks, Inc., a California-based firm that builds high-end equipment for routing traffic across the largest Internet backbones. Juniper makes the “gear” for the major telephone companies and Internet service providers that handle the bulk of Net traffic. He joined Juniper as the company’s CFO from 1997-2004. He was also responsible for Information Systems and Human Resources. Prior to joining Juniper Networks, Mr. Gani served as Vice President and CFO of NVIDIA Corporation, Grand Junction Networks, Primary Access Corporation, and NeXT Computer, Inc. He also worked as Director of Finance at Cypress Semiconductor. Prior to Cypress, he was a member of Intel’s finance group for twelve years.

Marcel Gani received an MBA from the University of Michigan (1978). He comes originally from Switzerland and currently lives in Atherton, California.
