Kim Gans is a 2003 alumna and in 2002, her team received a $20,000 Dare to Dream grant to move their business venture forward. Although the venture eventually came to an end, Kim moved forward with her own dreams. After working for several years at General Mills, she launched Sweet Flour Bake Shop in Toronto, a unique bakery that offers a two-minute custom cookie experience.
