Tim Mayleben, president and CEO of Esperion Therapeutics, recently appeared on the Ann Arbor SPARK podcast along with Roger Newton, executive chairman and CSO of Esperion. The bi-weekly podcast, hosted by the SPARK president and CEO Paul Krutko, supports high-tech and innovative business, jobs and investment in the greater Ann Arbor area. In their conversation with Krutko, Mayleben and Newton discussed Esperion’s focus and history, as well as how economic development organizations have assisted Esperion’s growth.
Mayleben’s contributions to the Institute have made possible the Mayleben Venture Shaping Grants, the first phase of the Institute’s Dare to Dream grant awards program for student-led startups. The Dare to Dream program moves students through the business creation process, offering seminars and grants to individual students and teams.
