Alumni develop restaurant reservation startup in Peru

September 5, 2014

When Pedro Callirgos (MBA 2013) was in his second year at the Ross School of Business, he began developing the idea of bringing the world of online reservation services for restaurants to Peru, similar to what OpenTable has done in the U.S. Now, that idea has become reality. In November 2013, with fellow MBA graduates Maria Arrarte (MBA 2013) and Norberto Montenegro (MBA 2013), Callirgos launched MESA 24/7.

The site offers those in Peru’s biggest cities, Lima and Cusco, the easiest and fastest way to reserve a table online in the most sought after restaurants. Six months after its launch, MESA 24/7 is continuing to grow.
