Today, organizers of the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium (MGCS) unveiled a new infographic that demonstrates the factors driving the Midwest’s growth as a magnet for technology, innovation – and capital. Although well-established coastal venture capital hubs are leaders in venture capital, the Midwest is playing an increasingly critical role as a consistent driver of venture-backed companies. The Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, now in its 34th  year, is a driving force in Michigan’s venture capital and startup ecosystem and is widely recognized as the premier event where financiers meet the ‘Best of the Midwest’ in new businesses and emerging technologies.
