We are pleased to announce that Kelly LaPierre,
managing director of the Desai Accelerator at the University of Michigan has been named to Crain’s 2015 ’40 Under 40′ list. The Desai Accelerator is a collaboration between the Zell Lurie Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies at the Ross School of Business and the Center for Entrepreneurship at the College of Engineering. Since joining as its first managing director in August 2014, LaPierre has successfully helped launch its first cohort of five startups this June, and continues to support entrepreneurs in the U-M community.
Every year since 1991, Crain’s Detroit Business has honored 40 professionals in Southeast Michigan who have made their marks before age 40. This year’s winners launched successful companies, grew established firms, took on high-pressure projects and gave a hand to those in the community.
