Congratulations to the University of Michigan undergraduate team that won first place in the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) Global Finals hosted by UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School on Saturday, April 1. The team earned their spot in the VCIC Global Finals with their top-place finish at the VCIC Midwest Regionals in February, after winning the internal 2023 Michigan Investment Challenge.
Global VCIC is the world’s largest venture capital competition with over 120 university and graduate school teams competing. VCIC is the only place where students get to be venture capitalists for the day and startups get an accelerator for the fundraising process.
The all-star team includes Breana Ang, David Burton, Arjan Guglani, Linda Karti, Nathan Vanderweide, and Isabella Wash. We are all very proud of these hard-working students. Go Blue!
