Steven Wang is the CEO of Meison, a women’s fashion apparel platform with a portfolio that includes Ming Wang, Misook, Kasper, and Jones New York in North America. Meison is built for omnichannel distribution, partnering with leading retailers including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Von Maur, and Dillard’s, while also operating and scaling direct-to-consumer businesses across its brands.
Steven graduated from the University of Michigan and began his career on Arthur Andersen’s M&A Transaction Advisory team. Despite early plans to pursue an independent path, he joined the family apparel business in 2002. Since then, he has helped scale and transform the company from a single brand operation into a focused portfolio of brands serving a clearly defined customer. Under his leadership, Meison has evolved into a platform that supports strong wholesale partnerships while also owning and operating dedicated e-commerce businesses, investing in digital capabilities as a core driver of growth.
Steven is a long-time participant in Strategic Coach and Vistage, and Meison operates on the Entrepreneurial Operating System, informed by the work of Gino Wickman, Patrick Lencioni, and Mark Winters. In addition to his role at Meison, Steven is an active real estate investor across retail, commercial, and office properties.
Outside of work, Steven is a devoted father to two daughters and enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with his family.
