Balance financial returns with purpose.

Each fall, Social Venture Fund accepts 15-25 new investment associates. We have a strong preference for first-year MBAs or dual degree students and traditionally accept 2-5 BBAs and ~5 Law Students per year.

During the two-year commitment, associates will spend an average of 10-15 hours a week conducting deal sourcing, business plan evaluation, due diligence, capacity building, marketing, and fundraising.

The Social Venture Fund Team

SVF is a student-run fund of nearly 50 MBAs, BBAs, and JDs, many of whom are dual-degrees with the School of Education, the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, the School of Natural Resources and Environment, and the School of Public Health. While, at its core, SVF is a multidisciplinary, action-based learning experience that requires students to take leadership roles and apply lessons outside the classroom, it is only able to exist with the support and counsel of our partners and sponsors.
