Professor Gordon’s interests focus on entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, including venture finance, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, commercialization of biomedicine, information technology and data analytics, mobility, and investment banking. He has developed interdisciplinary academic and practicum programs spanning business, law, medical and engineering schools.
Professor Gordon is also the faculty managing director of the Wolverine Venture Fund and the founding director of the Zell Entrepreneurship and Law program at the University of Michigan Law School. He is active in the industry and frequently appears on Marketplace Morning Report (in NPR’s Morning Edition), on Bloomberg and CNBC, and in The New York Times, The Financial Times, Business Insider, and Axios.
