Andrew Haeger – MBA/MS ’25

Andrew Haeger is a second-year dual-degree graduate student at the University of Michigan, pursuing both an MBA at Ross and a Masters in Sustainable Systems at the School for Environment and Sustainability. At Ross, he is one of the co-presidents of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital club, which focuses on building and growing the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem both within Ross and across campus. He is also part of the student team that runs Michigan Climate Venture, an early-stage climate impact venture fund in its third year of operations. Upon graduating, Andrew seeks to move into the world of venture capital, a career he’s sought since his teenage years and one he’s explored during his time at Ross through internships with both Citi Ventures and Newlin VC.

Stemming from his work with the endowment while earning a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Bowdoin College, Andrew launched his career at Cambridge Associates, an outsourced investment management firm for family offices, endowments, and foundations. From there, he worked in several operating roles at a late-stage cybersecurity startup and Reyes Coca- Cola Bottling, a beverage bottler and distributor, where he was responsible for identifying and implementing innovation projects within operations. Before returning to grad school, he also stopped in Montana to work a season as a fly- fishing guide on the Big Hole and Beaverhead Rivers.
