Looking to work on your venture full-time over the summer?
Get paid to do what you love through ZLI’s Self-Hosted Internship program. Students seeking to work full-time on their business idea over the summer are encouraged to apply. You will meet weekly with ZLI staff to develop your business and reach new milestones. Students will also have access to additional resources, including access to a ZLI intern.
Trinity Brown (BBA ’24) participated in her own self-hosted internship at ZLI last summer. Below she shares how her experience impacted the development of her luxury jewelry company Trinity Barbara [the brand].
“The ZLI Self-Hosted Internship has been instrumental in further refining my ability to scale Trinity Barbara. With strategic guidance from Entrepreneurs-in-Residence and ZLI mentors, I successfully developed a draft of my business plan, led a team of interns for the first time, and expanded the reach of my brand to more of Ann Arbor and beyond. From a childhood jewelry hobby in my bedroom to the establishment of Trinity Barbara as a luxury jewelry company, our focus remains on creating design-forward, timeless jewelry collections for every style and aesthetic.”
