Michigan Investment Challenge is U-M’s investor competition in which students play the role of venture capitalists. Student teams evaluate real investment options presented by motivated entrepreneurs and decide where to invest their firm’s money. Judges are real VCs. The Michigan Investment Challenge includes training workshops and two rounds of competition. Winning teams (1 graduate team and 1 undergraduate team) will travel to regional VCIC competitions, with training and travel sponsored by ZLI, and will be invited to serve on the MIC Investment Committee, which awards a prize at MBC.
