For the past twenty years, Kim has founded businesses in both the US and Mexico. Her last company grew from an idea to over a million users in 3 years. After the acquisition in 2022, Kim took her learnings and applied them to her role at MSU’s Research Foundation where she coaches startups across the state. She vowed to never start another company, but after diving headfirst into the Sober Curious movement and falling in love with hemp derived beverages she believed there was a better, easier way to find a buzz without the booze. With that, her latest endeavor SOBER(ISH) was born, which is on track to do a million dollars in sales it’s first year; all without ads, press or investment.
Kim’s entrepreneurial journey and industry recognition have been featured in Forbes, The Today Show, CNN, earning her the title of Tech Start Up Darling. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kim is an avid real estate investor and enjoys time spent on the family farm with her husband and their five children.
